Ranger

Breed: Hound Mix
Age: Approximately 5 years
Weight: 56 lbs
Sex: Male

Ranger was surrendered with his brother, Baxter, to the rescue because his previous owners developed health issues and were unable to give them the care they deserve.

Ranger likes meeting new people and loves getting pets and scratches behind his big ole ears. He loves going on walks, even though he seems less interested in the walking part and more interested in smelling everything he can get his nose close to. He is a pretty laid back guy who appreciates a comfy blanket, and he has been known to drag blankets into his kennel from the other dogs’ kennels! He likes toys and he does not hesitate to pick his own out of the toy box if it is left open and unsupervised.  Unfortunately, Ranger did test positive for heartworms, but he is undergoing treatment.
