Special Needs: Anxiety due to neurological issue

Blue and his siblings were rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in 2020 when they were only a couple of months old. When he first arrived at CVRS, he was covered in fleas, emancipated, and had a severe upper respiratory infection. Blue has since been treated for all of these issues; however, he did lose his eyesight in one of his eyes due to the upper respiratory infection. Fast forward to 2023 and the majority of Blue’s siblings have since been adopted, leaving him at CVRS searching for his forever home.

Blue has a neurological issue which causes him to get overwhelmed with new situations, animals, etc. When he is overwhelmed, he lets out a loud scream and runs to a place where he can hide. Due to this issue, we would like to see him go to a single animal household. Although Blue has his quirks, he is genuinely an amazing cat. He loves getting attention and will prance up to you when he wants love. He is also a very playful cat and adores toys such as plastic springs, balls, and tiny stuffed mice.
