Marge

Breed: Domestic Short Hair Mix
Age: 2 years old
Sex: Female
Color: Brown tabby

Marge is a beautiful 2-year-old girl who has had at least two litters of kittens already and is ready to enjoy life not taking care of kittens. When she came to the rescue, she had three 12-week kittens. Exactly 60 days later she gave birth to 2 more kittens. She is an amazing mom, making sure none of the other cats play with her kittens too hard. Marge has been spayed and has weaned all of her kittens and is ready to go to a forever home.

Marge is very laid back, but is generally comfortable in new environments. She gets along with other cats, but is not scared to tell them what she thinks if they do something to make her upset. She likes to watch the other cats and kittens play from inside a cat tree or on a comfy chair. She is very sweet to everyone that she meets and likes to be gently pet.

Madison

Breed: Domestic Short Hair Tuxedo Mix
Age: 8 years old
Sex: Male
Color: Black and White

Madison is a sweet 8-year-old tuxedo kitty who was brought into the rescue after he was found by a good samaritan. Madison was hit by a car and left stranded on the road along with three kittens. Two of the kittens now live at the rescue as they are feral and will not let anyone touch them; however, after about a year's work, we have finally won Madison over.

Madison is still quite shy and takes a while to trust people, but once he does, he is ready to give you all of his love. Every day, Madison greets the rescue workers with a small dry meow and a “headbutt” to the legs. He LOVES wet food and tasty treats (which is one reason we were able to win him over), and he will make it known that feeding time is his favorite part of the day. If you sit and watch Madison, you will learn his quirks, which consist of headbutting anything and everything, running up to toys and then getting too scared to play with them, and chattering as he watches the birds outside.

Madison has come a long way since he was first brought here and he still has a long way to go. He will do best in a quiet and understanding home which will allow him to flourish even more.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Madison, please email us at info@colbertvetrescue.org. If you would like to donate to his medical care, our Venmo is @Colbert-vetrescue.
