Update from Cricket’s foster:

Cricket is a sweet and playful one-year-old boy with a gentle heart and lots of love to give. He’s a big fan of Churu, soft blankets, and his favorite toy mouse, but most of all, he loves to play and snuggle with other cats! He’d be happiest in a home with one of his siblings or another playful young adult cat.

Though he may be a little shy at first, Cricket warms up with patience and soon becomes your shadow, following you around the house and curling up in your lap for a nap. He is very curious and does an adorable head tilt when something catches his attention. Cricket loves to make chirpy noises to share stories and hold a conversation with you.

Cricket is an amazing little buddy who is sure to bring lots of joy and laughter to his forever home.

Original Post:
Cricket and his 2 siblings were brought to our rescue a couple weeks ago along with their mother. They were very scared of people and nervous about being inside. Since they have been here, they have become friends with the other litter of kittens we have and have gotten more used to being picked up and pet, but there is still work to be done. With time and patience, these little kittens will be the perfect little companions.

Currently, Cricket and his siblings are about 8 weeks old. They are set to be spayed and neutered in about a month and, by then, they will be fully up to date on their vaccines as well.

Cricket (tabby) is a little boy while Fern and May (gray) are both little girls. All three kittens love to play with toys and each other, eating all the wet food they can and, or course, taking naps in the sun.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering any (or all) of these sweet babies, please reach out to us at info@colbertvetrescue.org, or call us at 706-548-2233. If you would like to donate to their medical care, our Venmo is @Colbert-vetrescue.

We are open from 9-5 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Feel free to stop by to meet them!
